It is the best time of the week! Time to deplug and have fun. On the agenda this weekend is ICE (indie craft experience), my favorite craft show of the year! If you are in the Atlanta area, I highly suggest going. It always has the best local vendors.

3- my mom gave me her old juicer (seriously it looks like it's from the 80's) and I can't stop using it. this particular mix is apples and beets. so yumm.

Ugh, I am so sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately. Making the switch to freelance designer as been a bit of a struggle. My work flow is always unpredictable, sometimes reaching out for any job, then the inevitable swamp when I overextend myself. I am currently emerging from that feeling of having an overwhelming amount of projects, to the point where you don't know where to begin. I love it don't get me wrong, but it means putting personal projects on the back burner. I am trying to figure out a healthy routine that allows me time to work, but also allows time for personal projects. Trying to find balance is sometimes a lot easier said than done, but it is time for me to get serious about it.

and it kind of feels like it? high 50's are better than snow in my book. I can't wait for things to start blooming. We moved into our new house during January, so I am looking forward to seeing what we have to work with in terms of foliage and flowers. We have the family coming over this weekend to help out with a raised flower bed for our new garden. I am a notorious plant killer so I am a bit nervous. A girl can only try. And try i will! I am hoping 2013 is the year my gardening skills come into full bloom. I will keep you posted.
