kiki and polly

i stumbled upon the art of lisa golightly of kiki and polly the other day and became immediately intrigued by her work. i love how these simple compositions emit so much emotion. i can feel the nostalgia of her photographic references, but admire how she keeps some anonymity of these personal references by not over detailing the face and settings. she keeps the prints and originals small much like a photograph, creating the same intimacy of a photograph that i just love. i have picked up a few for babes room and i can't wait to frame them!
