Living Walls 2012

I want to try to make a point to note cool art happenings around the city. That said, I have been blown away by this little (big) art movement that has taken over the bare slabbed concrete walls around the area and transforming them into...

well, something totally awesome. Although there are many walls around the edgewood area being transformed by local (and international) artists, this particluar peice by the ever talented Molly Freeman is in walking distance from my house. My sister has also been assisting her, and it has been so incredible watching these ladies pour their heart and soles under the grissly bridge of dekalb & whitefoord. Pure magic ladies!
